A decade is a serious amount of one's life to spend sharing a business relationship, and Central Hauling is grateful Frank Dobbs has chosen to work with us, hauling CalArk freight since 2008.
We know how much time and energy go into steering the way as an independent contractor with a business to manage as well as miles to drive. It's no easy feat to deal with four-wheelers during busy times and maintain focus when traffic is light, so it takes a special kind of person to stay safe and get loads where they need to be.
We're so happy to have Frank on our team. We appreciate every stale truck stop coffee and long drive into the sunrise that you've drunk in so that we're able to continue delivering what America needs. Congratulations on ten years with Central! Thank you for steering the way with us.
Central Hauling is proud to have Arturo Rodriguez as an independent contractor who has driven one million, five hundred thousand safe miles while doing business with us. Years of effort go into such a major accomplishment, and we're happy that he's chosen to spend them partnering with us.
Most people never see the days of long drives and busy weeks that business owners like Arturo put into getting goods across the country and into stores so we can bring them home in time for the holidays. That he helps Central Hauling steer the way is an honor we don't take lightly.
Congratulations and well done, Arturo!
Hundreds of early mornings and long days on the road go into reaching a whopping two million safe miles with one company. Through all the unique and difficult stresses of life on the road, Addison has spent years achieving this milestone.
It takes a special, tough person to keep a great attitude and cheerful smile while doing so.
We know it's not always easy, and we appreciate the hard work and energy it takes to get all the way to two million. Thank you so much for working with Central Hauling and doing an amazing job steering the way. We appreciate you!
Ever owned a car that managed to make it to 200,000 miles? Did you manage to do all 200K without an accident or safety-related ticket? How long did it take you?
Michael Andres has driven that many safe miles for Central Hauling as an independent contractor, but then he did it again nine more times! That adds up to years of heavy loads, keeping a mammoth machine carefully aligned within his lane with mere feet to spare on either side, and the discipline to do it for himself and his family without a boss to fire him if he stayed in bed.
CalArk and Central Hauling are grateful Michael has chosen to drive all those miles with us. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. We're glad you choose to work with us and keep steering the way!
Not just any independent contractor reaches the achievement of driving one million miles for the same company. An amazing few might hit a million and a half. Ralph Stephens has actually done what only a handful of the hundreds of contractors working with Central can lay claim to: he's driven a whopping two million safe miles with us.
Ralph is happily married and has a family odometer reading that's impressive, too, with eight children, twelve grandkids, and even a couple of great grandchildren to love. He enjoys gardening and watching sports when he's not adding up miles for us.
We're proud of you, Ralph. Thank you for dedicating so many of your years and so much of your hard work to steering the way with us. Congratulations!
Central Hauling is delighted to congratulate Jeffery Baker for passing one million safe miles driving with us as an independent contractor. We know racking up that many miles takes years of getting the job done efficiently and cautiously, one day at a time.
We're grateful Jeffery has chosen to spend that time steering the way with Central, doing what it takes to pack in the miles, stay safe on the highway, and make all those days count. Thank you so much for investing your time and hard work with us. We're grateful to have you on our team!
Walker Bryson, Jr. has driven a whopping one million safe miles as a Central Hauling independent contractor, and we're proud to present him with this award for his achievement.
One million is such a huge number that it's hard to even wrap your mind around how many minutes of driving, how many loads in all kinds of weather, and how many nights Walker has slept in his cab.
Thank you for choosing to drive with us. We can't thank you enough for all the miles you've put into steering the way with Central. Congratulations, Walker!
Congratulations to Jerry Haywood for achieving 1.5 million safe miles driven with Central Hauling! We don't know how many early mornings, long traffic jams, and truck stop coffees that adds up to, but we know how grateful we are for drivers like Jerry who steer the way and make our business possible.
Thank you for every mile you've driven for us, Jerry. We're so happy you've chosen to be a part of the Central and CalArk family!
We're sorry to share the news that one of Central Hauling's most friendly and well-loved contractors has passed away after experiencing a stroke. We've wanted to show our appreciation and respect for him while honoring his family's wishes for privacy during a painful time.
Wayne Gordon had the kind of out-going, talkative, positive personality that drew friends and strangers alike wherever he went. Many of our drivers, contractors, and employees will feel his loss deeply. We're grateful to have had the chance to know him and wish his family comfort and peace while they grieve.
This Friday, CalArk and Central Hauling will be planting a tree here at our Little Rock property to honor what he meant to so many of us. It will serve as a memorial to him and continue to be a place where we show respect to other drivers we may miss as time goes on.
The planting is planned for the day of his funeral because, as he is being laid to rest in one place, we want him to be given life symbolically in another. We'll be livestreaming this so that many of you who might be on the road can still be included in showing our respect as a company and as coworkers. We'll give more details about time and how to watch or attend later tomorrow.
It's hard to lose someone who has touched so many. We offer our condolences to his family and the many others who will miss him. Thank you, Wayne, for sharing part of your life with us!
Funeral services for Wayne Gordon will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 777 Elm St, Macon, GA 31201. (478) 742-0575 11:00 am Visitation at 11:45 am Celebration of Life services. Funeral services are being handled by Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3275 Pio Nono Ave, Macon, GA 31206 (478) 788-1234.
Central Hauling is proud to celebrate one million miles with Dorsey Scott, who has partnered with us as an independent contractor for eight years.
We may not have been in the cab while he did a pre-trip inspection on a snowy day or plotted his way to an unfamiliar location after a long drive, but we know it takes tough men and women to do what our independent contractors do over the course of that many years and miles.
Central Hauling is grateful that Dorsey and his family have chosen to work with us and hope he'll be around for a million miles to come. Congratulations, and thank you for steering the way!
