Driving across the state is a long way for most of us. Putting 100K miles on a car in five years would surprise many friends. The person capable of driving a million miles for a job boggles the mind of your average American.
So when a business owner running a successful truck like our Central Hauling owner-operators do reaches such a momentous milestone, it's an accomplishment we celebrate and can't help being impressed by.
Sedrick Addison not only handles all the business aspects of owning his own rig and managing his work schedule without a boss to tell him to keep at it, but he handles the daily long boredom and sharp frustrations of any driver who lives a life out on the road in conditions most four-wheelers can't understand.
We're so grateful and proud that Sedrick chooses to work in partnership with Central Hauling. Thank you for everything you do, Sir--we're glad you choose to be a part of our team and wish you many more miles steering the way with us!
The kind of person who can drive hundreds of thousands of miles, who can show up day after day in all kinds of weather at all hours of the day, doesn't come along every day. Running and maintaining a business, with all the side details that come with it, add a whole level of strength and responsibility.
When that woman or man chooses to partner with Central Hauling and carry loads for the CalArk family, we feel grateful and proud. Jimmy Felton is just that kind of business partner, and we couldn't be happier to have him as part of our team.
Thanks for everything you do, Jimmy! One million, five hundred thousand miles is an almost incomprehensible achievement. We're happy to congratulate you for reaching this milestone and grateful that you're part of steering the way with us!
In less than a year, Cliff Negrete has been awarded both his 1.25 and 1.5 million mile awards. He's been with Central for about nine years, enjoys restoring his 1968 Mustang, and is proud of his two children and one grandchild.
We're proud of him accomplishing so much in such a short time. Not jut anyone can put in that many miles so quickly, and he does a great job steering the way with us.
Also known around the office as "Smiley," Benji started working for the CalArk program for Puerto Rican drivers in 1998. He already had eight years of experience driving there. He'd followed in the footsteps of his grandfather, who owned a trucking company.
Trucking may be different in some ways in this part of the country than in his, but the late-night hours of minding the speedometer and the importance of arriving on time are the same. He says he loves Central Hauling because of the family atmosphere and can't imagine working anywhere else.
Benji has three sons and enjoys riding his Harley. We enjoy that he's chosen to partner with us for so many years and miles. What an incredible milestone! Thank you for driving through three million miles with us! We're so proud of you for steering the way.
Driving long hours, often before most of us are awake, can make the long haul trucker's life a solitary experience not many outsiders understand. So when a social media-savvy road warrior shares his or her experiences to a broad audience, they often become a valued ambassador of life on the road.
Keith Lawson, AKA "The Palerider," is just such a window into the world of trucking. His dry wit and patience with the realities of trucking are often as important as the miles he puts in.
Not just anyone can rack up a million miles, either. How many hundreds of early mornings, slow rush hours, and nights spent at truck stops does it take to reach that milestone? We haven't counted, but we know we can count on Keith to help steer the way.
Thanks for choosing to work with us, thanks for showing the world the best part of trucking, thanks for putting the hardest parts of trucking into a context of humor and grace, and congratulations on driving a million safe miles with Central Hauling!

We're proud to announce that one of our fierce lady road warriors has achieved a milestone only a select few of our drivers reach--one million safe miles!
Congratulations to Cheri Robertson for the hundreds of long drives, rush-hour slogs, on-time arrivals, hot coffees on chilly mornings, and patient eye rolls at grumpy four-wheelers. It takes a special, tough individual to work in this business and to stay with one company so long.
Cheri is one-in-a-million, and we're grateful and humbled that she's chosen to partner with Central Hauling for a million miles. Thanks, Cheri! We couldn't be happier that you keep steering the way for American business with us.
At Central we know each and every one of our owner-operators makes a choice to partner with us in business, and we value those who choose to trust us as friends in their work endeavors.
Kevin Richard is that kind of friend and partner. We know it takes weeks of long drives and hundreds of long nights with cold coffee to rack up thousands of miles in this occupation. It's absolutely mind-boggling and admiration-inspiring that he's made it to one million miles.
We're proud of and grateful for Kevin. Thank you for steering the way with Central Hauling. Congratulations!
A decade is a serious amount of one's life to spend sharing a business relationship, and Central Hauling is grateful Frank Dobbs has chosen to work with us, hauling CalArk freight since 2008.
We know how much time and energy go into steering the way as an independent contractor with a business to manage as well as miles to drive. It's no easy feat to deal with four-wheelers during busy times and maintain focus when traffic is light, so it takes a special kind of person to stay safe and get loads where they need to be.
We're so happy to have Frank on our team. We appreciate every stale truck stop coffee and long drive into the sunrise that you've drunk in so that we're able to continue delivering what America needs. Congratulations on ten years with Central! Thank you for steering the way with us.
Central Hauling is proud to have Arturo Rodriguez as an independent contractor who has driven one million, five hundred thousand safe miles while doing business with us. Years of effort go into such a major accomplishment, and we're happy that he's chosen to spend them partnering with us.
Most people never see the days of long drives and busy weeks that business owners like Arturo put into getting goods across the country and into stores so we can bring them home in time for the holidays. That he helps Central Hauling steer the way is an honor we don't take lightly.
Congratulations and well done, Arturo!
Hundreds of early mornings and long days on the road go into reaching a whopping two million safe miles with one company. Through all the unique and difficult stresses of life on the road, Addison has spent years achieving this milestone.
It takes a special, tough person to keep a great attitude and cheerful smile while doing so.
We know it's not always easy, and we appreciate the hard work and energy it takes to get all the way to two million. Thank you so much for working with Central Hauling and doing an amazing job steering the way. We appreciate you!
